Terms and Conditions

ABS Greentech Sdn Bhd shall hereinafter be referred to as “Organiser”.

1. PAYMENT TERMS

Following completion and return of the registration form, please note that full payment is required within seven (7) working days from receipt of invoice and must be received prior to the event date. A receipt will be issued on payment. We reserve the right to refuse admission if payment is not received on time. All fees payable is subjected to 8% SST, service charges and/or statutory charges, where so required.

2. SUBSTITUTION / CANCELLATION BY CLIENT(S)

Provided the total fee has been paid, substitutions at no extra charge up to seven (7) days before the event are allowed. Once registration is confirmed, cancellation may be made subject to a cancellation fee of 50% of the total fee paid. Cancellations must be received in writing by mail or e-mail four (4) weeks before the date of the event in order to obtain a full credit for any future Organiser events. There shall be no refund for cancellations made after the said Period. Non-payment or non-attendance does not constitute cancellation.

3. CANCELLATION, POSTPONEMENT AND CHANGES BY ORGANISER

In the event that Organiser permanently cancels the event for any reason whatsoever and provided that the event is not postponed to a later date, the client(s) shall be given a full refund or credit note for the amount that the client(s) has/have paid towards such permanently cancelled event and such credit note shall be valid for up to twelve (12) months and must be used by the client(s) for another Organiser event during the Validity Period. Event programme content is subjected to change without notice.

4. COPYRIGHT

All intellectual property rights in all materials produced or distributed by Organiser in connection with this event is expressly reserved and any unauthorised duplication, publication or distribution is strictly prohibited.

5. TRADEMARKS

All trademarks, service marks, and logos used and displayed by Organiser in connection with the event are registered and unregistered marks of Organiser and/or third parties. Use of such marks is prohibited without the prior written consent of Organiser and/or third-party owners specific for each use and all goodwill generated from the use of any of such marks shall inure to the benefit of Organiser and/or third-party owners.

6. DATA PROTECTION

Client confirms that it has requested and consented to Organiser retaining client information on Organiser Group of Companies database to be used by Organiser Group of Companies and passed to selected third parties, to assist in communicating products and services which may be of interest to the client. If the client wishes to stop receiving such information, please inform Organiser via email to infoasf@absgreentech.com. The client(s) also agree(s) that all phone calls made to Organiser may be recorded for training and security purposes.

7. IMPORTANT

While every reasonable effort will be made to adhere to the advertised package, Organiser reserves the right to change event dates, sites, locations, programmes or omit event features, or merge the event with another event as it deems necessary without penalty. In such situations, no refunds, part for any reason whatsoever (including, but not limited to majeure occurrence) and provided the event is not postponed to a later date nor is merged with another event, the client shall receive a credit note for the amount that the client has paid to such permanently cancelled event, valid up to twelve (12) months, to be used at another Organiser event. No refunds, part refunds or alternative offers shall be made.

8. GOVERNING LAWS

This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. However, Organiser is entitled to the exclusive right of submitting to the jurisdiction of the courts in which the client is domiciled or located.
